New Insights for FFB’s Fast Track

FFB’s Fast Track membership arm has decided to replace its Council with a new Advisory Group. Aiming to help FFB prioritise its services, the Group will look to support Members in the most productive way, representing their views and advising on the most useful business tools.

The following individuals will make up the Group and represent the needs of both large and small-scale exporters:

– Alan Beaney from Britvic- Barry Tilly from The Original Candy Company- Bill Haywood from Dairy Crest- Jim Walker from Walkers Shortbread- John Brennan from WT Foods- Jonathan Grant-Nicholas from Greencore Grocery- Peter Hardwick from the MLC- Simon Law from The Handmade Cake Company- Tony Walker from Tate and Lyle

Sean Ramsden from Nisa and Daphne Llewellyn Davies from Campden & Chorleywood Food Research will also play a role, with Daphne representing Fast Track Associates.

Fast Track is a community for UK food and drink exporters, with a large range of services available from FFB’s London base and nine International Offices. For an annual fee, dependent on export turnover, producers have access to services including Product-to-Market Assessments (PMAs), a dedicated Members’ zone on the FFB website, Quarterly Export Briefs and networking events, including one recently held at the House of Lords.

Jane Wakeling, FFB’s Head of Client Development says, “We feel the new Advisory Group will help us to better understand our Members’ needs. This is their community and we should look to support them in the most useful way. Fast Track is for British suppliers who are ready to move and grow into the exporting fast lane.”
