If you’re proud of your company’s achievements overseas and want to gain the recognition you deserve, then don’t forget to enter the Food from Britain Export Awards. With just weeks to go until the entry deadline, interest has already been at a record high with companies both big and small looking to battle it out for this year’s top industry honours.
Now in their ninth year, the Food from Britain Export Awards, held in association with The Royal Bank Of Scotland and The Grocer, are set up to recognise the outstanding achievements of UK food and drink companies exporting overseas. And this year with 2 new categories – “Private Label Exporter of the Year” and the ‘Image of Britain’ award – there’s now even more opportunity to shout about your success, whether that’s breaking into new markets, increasing overseas sales or running effective and high profile marketing campaigns in one or more countries.
“We are hoping to have a record level of entries to this year’s awards, and judging by the interest we have received so far on our website, we are on course to achieve this,”said Simon Waring, FFB’s Marketing and International Management Director. “As the market for British food and drink around the world continues to grow, many of our exporters are taking advantage of these improving conditions and achieving some fantastic business results.”
Simon continues: “We want to applaud these successes and the Export Awards enable the industry to truly recognise those that have excelled in their field.”
