Food from Britain (FFB) will once again be showcasing the best of British at this year’s ANUGA Show in Germany, with a large contingent of UK food and drink producers all looking to expand their international sales.
The Food from Britain Pavilion situated in Hall 5.1, stand number G29, will have the FFB team on hand at the Export Advice Centre to assist exhibitors with contacts made at the show. By offering this new service at the show, FFB aims to encourage exhibitors to talk to its international experts, assess contacts made during the show and be better placed to profit from the right leads.
A catalogue of British exhibitors will be available in a printed and on-line version to enable buyers to research what will be on show at ANUGA. To reflect the innovative nature of British food exports to international buyers, a new product showcase will also be on the pavilion.
British exhibitors will be situated in many of the individual sector halls so they can be easily located by category buyers. The diverse range of manufacturers includes household brands such as Tate and Lyle and Noon Products in the General Food Hall, plus Belvoir Fruit Farms and the Feel Good Drinks Company showing their latest ranges in the Drinks Hall. UKTI London will be bringing regional producers to the show, with a strong representation of new exhibitors in the General Food and Drinks Halls.

Without our support, it can be hard for companies to make an impact, but with most of the logistics now in place, our publicity and targeted buyer mailings aims to ensure that ANUGA is a productive show for the British exhibitors.”
In addition to the British Pavilion, FFB analyst Jose Ortiz will be presenting an overview of the UK chilled sector to ANUGA visitors. This unique insight into a dynamic and innovative part of the UK grocery trade, which continues to grow more than 7% year on year, will assist German buyers with their search for new chilled food concepts. The seminar will be presented at the Chilled Food Congress, organised by leading German trade magazine, Lebensmittelpraxis, on Monday, 10 October at 6:00 pm in the Kristallsaal of the Köln Messe.
